15" Izannah Walker doll in the making....................Finished and SOLD

I have been painting!
I just had to share some photos of this little head.  I am just working on her dress and then she is SOLD.
She is now finished.  She had antique under garments and her calico dress is made from early calico and all finished by hand by me.
The photos are pretty good but they do not do her justice.  She has such nice warm colouring and her fabrics are not as bright white as they show in the photo.   I need camera lessons!

If you have questions or would like more photos just let me know.  Toysintheattic@sympatico.ca

Both of these Izannah Walker dolls are now SOLD.

20" Izannah Walker doll finished ......................SOLD

Just to let you know, I have finished another Izannah Walker doll.
I have just posted a bunch of photos for you to see, although she is so much nicer in person than these photos show.  She is 20" and fully dressed............She has 3 pieces of antique undergarments and a 2 piece outfit that I love!  The fabric is antique calico from about 1870.  If you would rather have a different style dress or a different colour, just ask.  I have lots of antique fabrics to choose from and can custom make a dress of your choice.  She is now SOLD.

The other Izannah sold very quickly and I know there were some disappointed people that did not have a chance at her so if you are thinking you might want an Izannah please let me know as this one is not spoken for..............yet.  She is now SOLD
If you would like more info, just email me:  toysintheattic@sympatico.ca
Thanks!
SHE'S HERE!!!
Absolute perfection! How on earth do you do it? I love her aged appearance, and all the little nooks and crannies on her face! She has marvelous coloring. I really like the color you give to the complexion...it has a real antique look to it. And her features are so very fine. You must have paint brushes with just 2 or 3 hairs a piece in them to get the details so delicate. Her dress is a work of art as well. Again, you have impeccable workmanship and the dress and undies are spot on!
I am so glad to have bought a sister to my other Izannah. They are going to look so fabulous in my doll room.
Thanks Kathy! xoxo!

19 1/2" Izannah Walker doll finished and SOLD...............

I have finally made another Izannah Walker doll.  It has been a long time since I made one.  The English Wooden dolls that I love to make have been consuming my days, nights, and weekends!
I will have photos on here a bit later for you to see.  If you just can't wait, let me know and I will send you some quick preview photos of her.  She is so sweet and has soft ringlets across the back of her head and one on each side in front of her ears.

Ohhhhhhhh, Kathy!!!

I received her just now. I just got home from work, and my husband had the box in 'my chair'. I could hardly wait to get into the box. My dear, you are such a wonderful talented artist! SHE'S ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! I DO LOVE HER!!! I haven't completely undressed her, but I have peeked at her all the way down under all the layers. You have done such an outstanding job. Words are not enough to express how lovely she is, and how high quality your work is. Oh, I can hardly take my eyes off of her. I love her complexion. Her coloring is exquisite, and the finish almost has a quality of being bisque. And her eyes!!! And her pert little lips!!! Your painting technique is beyond compare. I am so, so happy to have her in my collection. Oh, and I haven't commented on her clothing....OUTSTANDING! Your sewing skills are impeccable. The fabric of her dress is absolutely perfect! And I love the faded quality of it. You were right about how it looked different than the photos. The turkey red has more rose in it than the photos showed.

Would it be ill-advised for me to take her to bed with me tonight? LOL... Her doll sisters are going to be so jealous!

THANK YOU! If you were here right now, I'd give you the biggest hug. (hope that doesn't creep you out...I'm just so thrilled!)

I'm your biggest fan! Although, I know anyone who has ever bought one of your dolls, must feel the same way.

Keep in touch with me. I'll be following your website, but I'd love to still get emails from you. By the way, love your card with the girl that is the same as on your website. I assume your own creation....adorable!
