Claire is 14" tall and so sweet!  She is dressed in antique silk.  Her legs are fully jointed and of course she has little silk shoes.  She reminds me on a "young" lady of her time.

10" Prudence, hand carved Queen Anne doll.................in the works!..........SOLD

I just have to share some photos of this little Prudence Queen Anne doll.  I was inspired by some photos of an old Queen Anne doll that I love.  She is a bit fierce looking but in a gentle way.  Small but mighty!  She has beautiful detailed hands  and is totally hand carved by me.  She is dressed in amazing early embroidered silks and wonderful old metallic trim with natural patina.  Every stitch on her cap is hand done and such tiny stitches they are.
Follow her progress............................
I will post more photos later.
She is SOLD.
Enjoy!

17" Mae, my latest Queen Anne.........................................SOLD

17" Mae is fully jointed and all hand carved from Basswood.  She has Antique black glass eyes and wonderful patina.  Her face and body have a light flesh tone.  She is fully dressed in very early fabrics right down to her silk shoes.  The colour of her dress is a very faded Madder colour and not nearly as bright as it looks in these photos.  I have posted quite a few photos of her so you can see all the very simple detail to this doll.  She is even nicer in person.
If you have questions or would like more photos just email me: toysintheattic@sympatico.ca
Mae is SOLD.
Enjoy!
