I welcome you to view the wooden dolls that I have been making recently from the inspiration of the very Early English Queen Anne style dolls from 1680-1780.
Come by often!
Ellen is a all finished now so I though I would show her to you before she leaves with her smaller sister. They are going on a long trip to live in California.
I have been reproducing early English wooden dolls, also known as Queen Anne dolls, since early August of 2008. I have been most well known for reproducing German Santa candy containers for the past 19 years. This new found passion of carving early English wooden dolls has taken over my days!! It is my hope that those of you who love very early wooden dolls as I do, will come back here often to see what is new. You are welcome to call me about what dolls are available for sale or to place an order (705)489-1046 or email: toysintheattic@sympatico.ca
Be sure to check out the Exhibit at the Museedelapoupeeparis.com

This charming 1810 painting hangs here at my house for inspiration. I proudly use it on my business cards, doll tags, stationary and now as the background for my Blog so you can enjoy it too. What a wonderful find this was!!
