You will now find Early English Wooden Queen Anne style dolls here, as always.......................but now I have also added a new project as well. Although they are not wooden, I have been reproducing some Izannah Walker dolls and loving it. This is something that I have had in the works for a while now and just had to challenge myself to do it. I feel it best to show both styles of dolls that I am making on one site and I hope you enjoy seeing both and come by often to see what is new. 14" Hope

SOLD














Meet Hope! She is 14" tall and dressed in antique silk. She is very sweet and to me looks like a very young lady about 12 or 13, the same age as my daughter.
She is fully jointed and hand carved from basswood that grows on our acreage. Her eyes are antique black glass pupiless eyes and are slightly down-turned. She has dotted eyebrows just as her sisters from 300 years ago. Hope has a sweet little smile.
She is wearing a tiny chatelaine that I made just for her and it is clipped to her hand stitched apron so she can help around the castle!

Her bodice and the stripes through the skirt... my absolutely favorite colour.
She is beautiful.
