I post most dolls as finished but if you would like to know in advace what I am working on feel free to contact me anytime and I can usually send off some photos of the latest dolls I have in the works. Custom orders are possible as well.

Yes there is something new here to see!!

You will now find Early English Wooden Queen Anne style dolls here, as always.......................but now I have also added a new project as well. Although they are not wooden, I have been reproducing some Izannah Walker dolls and loving it. This is something that I have had in the works for a while now and just had to challenge myself to do it. I feel it best to show both styles of dolls that I am making on one site and I hope you enjoy seeing both and come by often to see what is new. If you wish to contact me just email toysintheattic@sympatico.ca

Here is lovely Julia....

SOLD

Her is Julia........just over 19" tall and dressed in antique French linen. She has a blue striped underskirt and the same lining in her bodice sleeves.
She is one of the more fine featured Queen Anne style dolls from the first quarter of the 18th century. I love making these dolls. Being a detail person, I love the features of her face and the tiny dotted eyes and eyebrows. Her eyes are antique black pupiless glass eyes. Click on any photo to see her full screen.
If you have questions about my dolls or would like to see what is in the works next, just email me toysintheattic@sympatico.ca
Thanks for looking
Happy 4th of July!
Kathy

Of course, it goes without saying that your Muse is Clio for her love of history. You have so perfectly captured these past treasures that I simply bow to you.

Adoringly,

Christine

She is beautiful. Such a serene face.
There must be something special in those northern forests, eh? But then again tis not the wood but the carving that comes from the sculptor's hand that creates such perfection.
