16" Izannah Walker doll finished and available..........(SOLD)

I just finished this 16" Izannah Walker reproduction doll. She is #1 from my new smaller mold taken off the "very worn" old Izannah that I own.  She has 5 ringlets across the back of her head and she is so sweet!!

The 18 1/2" Izannah in Blue is SOLD.

There are 2 other dresses handmade from antique calico fabrics finished here that will fit her as well if you would like a change of clothes for her or a different dress than the one she is wearing.  Her undergarments are all handmade of antique pieces as well.  She is now shown with her larger 18 1/2" sister dressed in blue (sold).

Here she is!
She is so sweet......and those ringlets!!!  She is 16" tall and full dressed in all antique fabrics and trims.  Her layers of undergarments are to die for, if I do say so myself.

A new Izannah is coming to life here..................(SOLD)......but her smaller 16" sister is now available.....

I just thought I would share a few photos of my newest Izannah Walker doll.  She is almost 20" tall and has lots of darling ringlets!
She will be finished and available tomorrow.........I hope.
This doll is now sold...................but...............I am working on her, almost identical, sister that is 16" tall.  If you think you are interested, just email me and I will send you some photos of her coming to life.
It is morning now and the 16" Izannah Walker doll I have been working on is now finished and available.  I will try to get some photos of her on my site today...........more ringlets!!

Good things to come..............for those who have been waiting!!

As you can see, not much new on my site for a while.
But...............................soon there will be some dolls to look at again.
I have had to take some time to take care of some skin cancer treatments (now finished) and it made it impossible for me to be in my studio and around dust, old fabrics and sawdust.
I am good to get back to work now and my studio has all been painted and remodelled while I was told to keep out of the dust.
Not to sit with idle hands, I have been hand sewing in the house and now have a bunch of Izannah dresses finished for some future Izannahs.................17 to be exact!

Izannah Walker doll finished .............and SOLD

I finally have an Izannah Walker doll and she is available for sale.
She is molded off of my earlier Izannah that has the most wear and love to her face. 
She is dressed in antique blue check and has amazing undergarments that are made from early antique hand-stitched petticoats from the UK.
She is about 19" tall and looking for a home.

A new wooden doll.........Hattie

She is not a Queen Anne but she is a hand carved wooden doll with antique glass eyes.  She is 22" tall and here name is Hattie.  A perfect name for her and chosen by young lady that has a talent for picking just the right name for a doll.

She is a hard doll to get a photo of with out some flash on her face but she really does not have a shine to her at all.   I did my best!

This is a doll that I have wanted to do for a very long time and I hope you enjoy seeing her all finished.

A new Sliver Sister is emerging............

She loves the 17" of snow that we just had dumped on us!
The snow fall means that I was shut in and finally dressed her.  Poor thing has been naked since May.
She is 9" tall, hand carved from basswood and jointed.  Her gown is hand stitched by me and made of 18th century silk.
I just thought I would share her with you.  She is enough to make anyone smile on this wintry day!!  SOLD

25" Mary is all finished and SOLD...................

This Lovely wooden lady is Mary.  She is 25" tall, fully jointed and all hand carved from basswood that grew on our property.  She has antique black glass eyes and really wonderful patina which I am hoping you can see in the photos.  Click any photo to make it larger and then click again for a full screen close up.  The photos are not as nice as she is in person.  You will not be disapointed with this doll.  I love her!

SOLD...21" carved wooden William Higgs style doll ..........I present Paulina Higgs!

I have not had a wooden doll available on my site for a while now.
If you have been waiting, here is a 21" William Higgs 1680's style English Wooden doll, here she is.  Her name is Paulina Higgs.
She is fully dressed in antique fabrics.  Her gown is made from a wonderful piece of silk amberline fabric that I have been saving just for this type of doll.  She has silk slippers to match as well and a silk stomacher.  Paulina's  cap is made of silk and rayon antique trims  that really compliments her 2 pc. gown.

I just finished this Izannah Walker doll today.  She is 19" tall and all dressed in layers of antique clothing and undergarments.  She is very sweet and has a nice worn played with face that is molded off of my original Izannah Walker doll that I love so much.  Both of these dolls are SOLD but I have finished painted heads ready to make a couple of more Izannahs if you are interested.
